Scribd - Download and Share Doc


Scribd is free online service where users share documents (PDF, Word and PowerPoint) and books. You can view, print, download, upload, send and share to your devices.



It is a great online research tool where you can find other people's work or collections. Most documents I have seen is in PDF format. You can view these files by installing Foxit PDF Reader which is faster than Adobe PDF Reader.

 In the Explore link found in the header, there are 2 main categories, Documents and People.

 Documents contain:
  1. Books - fiction and non-fiction
  2. Health and medicine
  3. Brochures and catalogs
  4. Government docs
  5. How to guides and manuals
  6. Magazines and newspapers
  7. Cooking recipes and menus
  8. School work

People contains:

  6. Businesses

  8. Artists and designers
  9. Teachers
  10. Most followed
  11. Popular
To download a document, it required me also to upload a document.
