Recuva - Recover File if Not in Recycle Bin

Recuva is a recovery tool to recover your deleted files if you Windows right click menu's "Undo delete" option is not available or the files is not in your Recycle Bin . This saves me numerous times when I accidentally deleted important files. This is a free program download .

 HOW TO AND SET  UP
  1. Download and install Recuva.

  2. Select the file type.

  3. Browse for the location of the deleted file.

  4. Check "Enable Deep Scan" for higher recovery rate but this will take more time. Click "Start" and wait.

  5. Select the file you want to recover and browse for the location you will save this file.
From my experience, recently deleted files have higher recovery rate. Try not to restart your PC if you need to recover the deleted files. Once the hard drive space of the deleted file is overwritten by new data, chances of recovery is dwindling.
